"Avg margin vs line" is how many points the side beat (or missed) the spread by on average. SU is straight-up; O/U is the game total against the closing total line.

Lines and totals are closing consensus numbers from the nflverse game data, which is why nothing before 1999 appears. Pick'em games (line of 0) count as neither favorite nor underdog. Temperature and wind exist for outdoor games only, and precipitation isn't in the source yet.

"Days of rest" is days since the side's previous game; 13 or more means coming off a bye. Kickoff slots use the scheduled Eastern kickoff.
